Since its inaugural year in 2010, each year we see marked increases in attendance and media value for an ever-growing list of Sponsors.

Pico’s invention has greatly contributed to Singapore’s development as a tourist destination. In the coming years, iLight will be expanding its footprint both across Singapore island and touring internationally.

In partnership with the Singapore Urban Redevelopment Authority and Singapore Tourism Board, Pico designs and produces a yearly placemaking event called “iLight.” Pico curates and invite both local and international light artists to create a circuit of over 30 installations around the Marina Bay area over a month-long period.

We have created not just an attraction but a travel destination that brings tourists from all over the world and create an entire ecosystem of events and activations

2012 - 2025

Since its inception in 2010, visitorship to i Light Singapore has grown from over 400,000 visitors to over 2 million in recent years. Over 200 eclectic light art installations and exciting programmes presented to date supported by community stakeholders and sponsors. The festival invites international artists and features a mentorship programme, pairing experienced artists and technologists with local up and coming talent from the region.

iLight promotes sustainable living through innovative light art installations; encourages energy efficiency and environmental consciousness.

Since its inception, iLight has featured energy-efficient light installations, interactive artworks, educational talks, guided tours, and sustainability-themed programmes including the "Switch Off, Turn Up" campaign to promote energy conservation.
