Auto Show 2016 - 2017
We accommodated different vehicle configurations and the interior of our booth again featured Indonesian design cues and the inclusion of a putting green with a simulated open sky ceiling and complete hospitality, allowing the distributors and dealers an active area in which to engage prospective and legacy clients. GPJ and Lexus won the Best Show Booth award, proving our design and approach.
In 2017, we were the first in the world to apply the not yet released design guidelines, effectively launching the new brand and look to the world. Inline with the brand, we took a Japanese approach to the VIP interior of the booth with a lounge and private rooms around a rock garden, evoking a Japanese temple experience. Once again, we won Best Show Booth and involved our loyal customers by showcasing their art collections throughout the interior space.
Lexus sits alongside the most prestigious auto brands in the Indonesian market, however had never participated in past auto shows in the market. GPJ was appointed three months before the event were required to ideate, design and execute within a very short span of time.
Auto Show 2015 - 2017
There were challenges managing expectations from multiple stakeholders while keeping true to the essence of the Lexus brand. We also had to maintain our quality level in a location where acquiring skilled craftsmen is difficult. The construction and maintenance of the booth in a new event venue that was not yet equipped to handle such a large show shone a light on our experience.
Through consumer insights and incorporating nuances of Indonesian culture, we designed a hybrid booth showcasing Lexus Indonesia’s Gallery concept. We led our Lexus client through the entire process, providing on-site project management consultancy and extended this through to the fabrication process with local vendors.
